Internationally renowned tyre and rubber expert K.S. Loganathan is the driving force behind Silver Arrow Rubber Technologies. K.S.Loganathan received a B.Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, and M.Sc (Engg.) from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He is a Fellow of the Indian Rubber Institute and of the Institution of Standards Engineers. He holds 3 patents and has authored 25 research papers and two books. His reference book IRI Rubber Engineering* has been published by the McGraw Hill companies in U.S. and India and a Chinese edition is under print. He has over 35 years of experience in the tyre and general rubber goods industries. He headed R & D, Works Technical, Quality Assurance and Technical Services functions in Dunlop India Limited, a company with US$200 million annual revenues, producing all types of tyres (from bicycle to aircraft) and industrial products (conveyor belting, hoses, F & V Belts, metal to rubber bonded units). As corporate technical head he was responsible for absorption and transfer of technology from the company’s technical collaborators from U.K. and Japan (BTR, Dunlop Japan, Dunlop Aerospace U.K. and Mitsuboshi Belting) to Dunlop India. He was also responsible for improving productivity and product performance reducing costs and for negotiating long term wage agreement with labour unions. He has a proven track record of introducing innovations in the Indian rubber industry.
 Set up three fabric (tyre cord and belting duck) treatment plants for rayon, nylon and polyester and developed excellent bonding of rubber to textile in a variety of products.
 Associated with the indigenous development of Technically Specified Rubber, Polybutadiene, Nylon 6 and Nylon 6.6 tyre cord and belting ducks, polyester fabrics, NR and VP lattices, viscose/cotton, nylon and polyester bicycle tyre cord, Polychloroprene reclaim rubber, and many other raw materials.
